One of the most vibrant creative events of the fall was the second design market of the year, held on October 5-6 at Kyiv’s "Mystetskyi Arsenal." Organized as part of the third season of the multidisciplinary platform Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW), the market brought together over 120 leading Ukrainian brands of decor, furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles, and other interior items. Among the exhibitors were NOOM, MAKHNO Studio, Gunia Project, DIZA, +kouple, propro, Woo, GUSHKA, Litvinenko Design, Tivoli, Clayp, Shishka project, and many others. Naturally, kint also took part in UDIW.
At our stand, we showcased items from our best-selling puffa system collection, presented in new premium Italian fabrics, as well as the fit and max tables by Rostyslav Sorokovyi, and the sigga sofa and taco bar stools designed by kint’s creative director, Max Voytenko.
Additionally, kint introduced a new armchair, falda, by designer Maria Selezenieva, to the public for the first time. This piece was one of the winners of kint's first closed competition for object design.
Overall, Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW) is the second event of its kind, held under the patronage of World Design Weeks, a global network that connects design weeks in more than 40 cities worldwide.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude and admiration to the organizers, visitors, and colleagues for their support and for fostering the development of contemporary Ukrainian design!
