kint at Maison&Objet 2024

Whoo hoo! We did it!

kint participated for the first time in the legendary Parisian design and decor fair, Maison&Objet. The winter session of the event, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, traditionally took place from January 18 to 22 in Paris. The venue for it was the exhibition center Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc des Expositions.

As for our debut, it took place within the framework of the collective stand Ukrainian Design Brands. Besides kint, seven other contemporary Ukrainian furniture and decor brands were also exhibited: DONNA, WOO Furniture, DOBRO, RUDA Studio, FURN OBJECT, Take Some Rope, and llab.design.

We presented our bestseller on the Ukrainian market — the puffa system collection of upholstered furniture by designer Rostyslav Sorokovyi, as well as new coffee tables from the paper collection by Dmytro Kozinenko. Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to appreciate our author's decor novelties — the jaro vase by kint's creative director Maxym Voytenko, as well as the vognyk candle holder and blend lamp-vase by designer Vladyslav Tolochko.

Moreover, we cannot help but boast about another wow news from Maison&Objet. A chair from the puffa system series was selected by exhibition curators to participate in the special trend zone What’s New? In Decor. Traditionally, the hottest design novelties of the season are exhibited there. This year, it was curated by Elizabeth Leriche, the head of the world-famous Parisian style agency. She integrated the puffa chair into one of the three conceptual rooms. The installations were dedicated to the theme of nature, namely the ocean, desert, and the world of flora, with our object being part of the latter.

Overall, it was an extraordinary experience. We are very grateful to the organizers of the Ukrainian Design Brands project, as well as to all kint admirers for their support!

Stay tuned, there's more to come!
